    This is an abrasive grit “gel” used for final polishing, the equivalent grit of this abrasive is appx 10,000. Includes pre-packaged pack of 3 with an average of 4 to 6 grams of product – a little will go a long way in use.

    Due to the fineness of this abrasive, a mechanical application is highly recommended such as a rotary tool at low speed with a felt pad. An alternate method of application is to use this as a final lubricant when lapping on the highest grit sandpaper in the kit.

    The abrasive is suspended in an inert water based soluble liquid and does not work through a chemical action, but rather through mechanical abrasion and provides a very mild cutting action only. While this polishing compound is non-toxic and safe to use, it is a very fine abrasive and care must be taken not to get in your eyes or ingested. It will rinse and dilute easily with the addition of water, so clean up is easy.

    While the use of this final polishing compound isn’t strictly necessary, some customers insist that this product provides the ultimate finish.
