    The kit also contains a piece of glass to be used as a flat backing surface and comprehensive instructions.

    The sandpaper in this kit is industrial quality wet/dry sandpaper with silicon carbide abrasive grit. SC has a blocky crystalline structure; as it wears, the grains are friable and fracture, exposing new cutting edges. This allows SC paper to have long life and a consistent “cut”.

    Many people like to order this kit as an initial kit, and then purchase additional kits without glass to use as “refills”.
